Thank You Note
When the idea of “Arise Calgary 2016” was conceived, we didn’t even have a name for it! All we had was lots of enthusiasm and a strong desire to inspire hope in Calgarians. We had no idea how we would achieve our goal or how well we would achieve it. After all said and done, the debut two-day event is over – and we are here to say thank you for showing up and making the event a success!
We have learned a lot from the event – your one-on-one feedback at the event as well as from the evaluation forms you submitted. We have learned that you are all leaders in your own spheres. Your ideas and suggestions are awesome, thought provoking and invaluable. At the moment, we are analyzing the completed evaluation forms in detail and will be sharing the result with you soon. We acknowledge that some things were not perfect and we wish we could have done better. In the future we promise to do better – and we will. Although, we are not promising that we would not make mistakes again but we guarantee that when we do make mistakes, we will learn from them and leverage the lessons learned for future events. We already have some attendees ready to help us at future events, if you are one of them, we will be contacting you soon.
We trust that you were truly inspired at the event. We hope that you learned at least one thing from the speakers. We hope you spotted available alternatives. We hope you initiated new relationships. And because things only move when we move, we hope you are already implementing what you learned from the event. If not, we hope you will start now, and we look forward to hearing your success stories.
As part of our post event plans, we will make materials from the event available for FREE for your reference soon.
We urge you to follow us on Twitter at @arisecanada and on Facebook.
Finally, remember; “life never leaves you without an option – there is always something in your life that can get you to your next level.”
Sincerely,
Dapo Bankole – Convener
Tolu Oguntoyinbo – Event Strategist
Tunde Ojo – Project Manager
