Immigrant integration isn't just about welcoming newcomers - it is about acceptance. It is about embracing their skills, experiences, talents, stories and dreams as an invaluable Canadian heritage...
As Seen On:
I’m Dapo Bankole, a Nigerian-Canadian IT professional and entrepreneur dedicated to supporting first-generation Canadian immigrants. As founder and president of Mopheth Systems Corp. in Calgary, I have over 23 years of experience in business analysis, project management, and software development. I also serve on the boards of Momentum Community Economic Development Society and Windmill Microlending.
I founded The Immigrant Life movement on July 1st 2018 with the aim of inspiring fellow immigrants to discover actionable insights that will help them thrive and make a difference in their chosen spheres of influence. I do this by putting a spotlight on my integration experiences and that of other first-generation Canadians, mining their collective intelligence and presenting these in the form of podcasts, articles, videos, and conferences. I also passionately advocate for improved integration programs and emphasize the importance of mentorship and sponsorship.
In addition to my IT work, I am a writer, podcaster, and public speaker, sharing insights to inspire others.
